Some weirdo jumping in my messages asking if I have kids and how sorry they feel for them and telling me I need to get help, blah, blah, blah.
Is this really a thing that happens here?
Who the hell do these people think they are?
Have you gotten messages from people like that?

Luckily I haven't had any one like that approach me here. Just people who suffer like me. Sorry you had to deal with a pro-life dbag. I have heard of them on this site and your experience solidifies that.

I don't think I've gotten to many weird pm's. I usually don't respond. They go away.
I hope that happens for you. If you have more trouble then contact a mod.
Probably a prolifer with nothing better to do. They should be with their family instead of worrying about yours.

You can turn off private messaging in settings. It's best to do that in my opinion. There are pro lifers and trolls on here and I have seen pro lifers around the forum. I feel like if you are on here it's likely you will get your suffering invalidated at some point. It's best to just report or take no notice depending on the situation. Nowhere is free from pro lifers in a world like this and nowhere is free from the cruelty of people. If other people think that everything can be 'helped' and that life is always worth living then they should just go and enjoy life rather than forcing their views onto others.

That's a good idea. I do have some people I have private conversations with and would be sad to give that up, though.

It's never happened to me, I've had a couple of friendly messages and I have regular private conversations (a conversation, hahaha). But what you're talking about has never happened to me... I guess I don't lead an interesting enough life for these types of people.

You can report this person to the mods and send them copies of the messages and they will likely get banned. YOU can also block this person. This is rare fo this site though I think.
