Ya, I think he just moved on with his life. We both started using sasu less and less around the same time, except I came back and he didn't. Our conversation last message was in February

When I first came onto SanSu a few weeks ago, my first posts clearly showed that I was struggling with how I was feeling. Like many of you, I felt isolated and alone. It didn't take long for a few people to reach out to me both to let me know that they too share the same feelings of isolation and despair. Knowing that I wasn't alone made me feel less isolated.
Finding out that one of those people recently ended his life it hit me hard. I never got a chance to let him know that he mattered to me in a time when nothing made sense, and to maybe talk through whatever he was going through. But he made the choice long before I came along, so that momentum only had one conclusion for him, and before I could say anything, he was gone.
I will be honest, the "goodbye" threads bother me. I read them because I want to understand, but they really hit hard. This is especially true when I know that the person is young because knowing that they could have possibly found help and lived through whatever was eating at them from the inside, then gone on to live potentially happy lives.
We should have the freedom to choose how and when we die, but I believe that we should exhaust every opportunity to sort out whatever led us here BEFORE we take that last, irreversible step.

Thank you. I've learned so much in my short time here, but this site has forced me to confront things that I obviously was not prepared for. I know that I'm on a site that's focused on suicide yet am simultaneously struggling with the thought of suicide. Either my own or someone else's.

I can relate on this. I'm also new and I've only found so much love and support here, but it's still hard though.
