Has anyone tried carbon monoxide poisoning?

I don't know all the consequences of CO poisoning. I got the point already you said. Just, There is a chance that you fall into a vegetable state(?) and not be able to warn people against about the thing you made wrong in your method. It's terrible.

I guess, SN method doesn't have such a risk.

Yeah people that survive this method end up brain damaged I think. It's very important that if you do this method that one you make sure that nobody finds you for a good long while. And two that you take extra precautions to make sure others are safe. People have died trying to rescuing others from CO. A tent or car would work best.
Also the cogen is the best method for this I think.

I tried it last year. I bought a 2 perso coleman tent. I bought 2 bbqs that you get out the supermarket. I'd wrote notes and had made a advanced directive (can't remember if that's what it's called) and put it in a poly pocket outside the tent. I remember it was raining.
In the end I thought one would end me after reading about so many accedential poisonings. I lit the bbq and waited 30/35 mins till coals were white/greyish and no smoke. I placed it in tent. I took a 5mg diazepam and had some Jack d, I went and posted letter to cpn. Came back, went in tent around 25 mins later. Fell asleep.
I woke up some hours later freezing (it was in January) and spewing, there was a hole in tent and the duct tape was half off air pockets/vents. I had a great headache and was dizzy, I panicked and pressed the emergency button on my phone. Ambulance guy arrived at my tent, he was such a bastard until we got in the ambulance. The police and firebridgade (spelling) came. A policeman came in the ambulance with me and they sat with me over night while I was in hospital. I had oxygen in the ambulance and in the hospital. I mind the police guy asking if he'd (the ambulance guy) ever seen those numbers before and the dude answered "no" but dunno what they were talking about. I also lost my voice, it came back few says later.

What I learned

Use 2 barbecues
Put on bricks or buy container for bbqs
Use something stronger for duct tape

Losing my voice and had headache and I was tired. My memory is bad now but I don't know if its from then.

No because I thought it was guaranteed I'd die but I woke up but that was failures I made but wish I had died. I've got another method now

I've gotten a very slight CO poisoning by accident. I have to say, if I had the means.. I'd seriously consider this. The thing about carbon monoxide is that it's a sneaky thing. Odorless and everything. I didn't pass out, but it was a relatively close call I'd say. At first I felt absolutely nothing. Then slight dizziness and numbness (at this point I got out). If I had remained in the space with the CO I expect I would've passed out very quickly after with probably no bad feelings.

The after effects were rather nasty though. Elevated pulse, cold sweats, feeling sick, throwing up. Can't recommend those.

I attempted CO poisoning using a portable generator in my bathroom. The ppm went to 200 after 7 minutes, then slowly started dropping.

Charcoal is probably a better idea than a generator. This seems to be the way asians do it. User 406metallicblue got knocked out by letting charcoal CO build up in the car. He failed to close the door and woke up later. I recommend reading the CO megathread.
