I never tried partial hanging with an arbor knot but I do know that the arbor knot is absolutely deadly in a FSH as it tightens like crazy. If there's a way for the noose to tighten that much with PSH then I don't see was it wouldn't be just as deadly and foolproof.
Im asking because all the trees I can use for FSH. Been going out at 3 am but always found it too risky. However if I ditch FSH then the woods around my place with long and thin trees might just do the trick. That way I can be certain I won't be spotted and rescued with permanent brain damage
The temperature is only -5 C today, so I'll do it in a few hours. I do fear that the rope's end that's attached to the tree could slip and fuck things up. What do you think? If not for that,I have to risk it with FSH with a tree like in the second pic (in full view several house's window and anybody going for a walk)
