idk if I'm doing it wrong but when I've tried to hang myself it just feels like my head is filling with blood and like my head is going to explode from the pressure. It doesn't make me pass out or anything so I'm confused. I had the rope at the top of my neck right below my chin. Is it too high up? I am doing partial hanging btw.

Sounds like you're closing your jugulars but not your carotids. It's not meant to feel like that. Probably need more pressure or try different positions or ligature material.

Partial is difficult. As @dontlook already mentioned, you probably don't put enough pressure to block the carotids.

It's just my personal opinion but full is the way to go. Once the chair is kicked away, there's no way back.

I tried partial, feel dizziness in 5 secs. Put pad on carotids really helpful.

So the pain wasn't choking? Was the pain you felt only due to the blood pressure caused by the blood that was trapped in your head?

What kind of pads? Also what placement was the rope on your neck?

I have the same problems with the hanging methods. So it is better to put pads in order to put pressure in the carotids? Also, so there´s no way on doing it partial hanging I suppose

You should see your vision getting dark or fuzzy if you're doing it properly

anatomy is so difficult i can't know for sure i'm pressing on my carotids even if i feel a pulse and i'm not sure how i'm supposed to close a rope around it and not suspend something else
