If I were to shoot myself in head how long would you think it would take to bleed out if I didn't die instantly and wasn't found for at least a few hours?

Depends on the calibur. What would you use? I live in Texas and had several but they were taken away by my family due to self harm.
I'll being using one from an aquantance when he's not home. Not sure of calibre but thinking its a 38.
