I finally managed to email my lecturers at university saying I believe it is in my best interest to withdraw. Everyone was so helpful and understanding, everyone I contacted said they are happy to help me in the future. I've been so afraid of this decision, dropping out with one year to go, but it was the right choice. I'm going to send all my lecturers letters (I'm a photographer so they'll all have a nice photo each) and chocolates. I feel so proud of myself, this is the best I've felt in ages.
