• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

I'm 26, but all of a sudden some days ago, getting old has become my new fear.

Yes, if I get old, I'm closer to ctb, but I as I also start feeling like things aren't worth doing anymore since I have wasted so many years of my prime. I feel like I did prison time since I became 20.

This is a very stupid concerm because there are people in their 40's still looking gret and working out and leqrning new things, but I just can't stop feeling like trash.

Also, I'm not trying to make anyone feel bad about their age, it's just something that hit me suddenly. I wasn't like this a few weeks ago. Might be side effects of depression?

Probably, yes. I didn't really feel old until I hit 60 last month. You have a lot of life ahead of you.

I do tech support and most of my calls are elderly people. There's no way in hell that I will allow myself to grow old. The cognitive decline is so awful.

I'm 60 and I dread the idea of becoming incapacitated by some means like having a heart attack or stroke, even dementia, getting a disease such as cancer, having no one to help me, needing to have my ass wiped and be spoon fed. No way, not for me. One of the reasons I'm getting out while I still can.

honestly, one of my biggest reasons for wanting to ctb. I want to have control over my life and when it ends. I would love to die in an accident or something, but aside from that, I refuse to die from a disease. i hope that doesn't sound distasteful, but I just am not the type of person to be ok with that and therefore, would not allow that to happen to me.

I'm 40 years old and I've been chronically ill since I was 29. You're right not to accept the illness. Do what's necessary if it happens because this isn't living.

I'd prefer to die in my sleep and be completely aloof as to when it would happen. Not distasteful at all, least not from my perspective.

My grandmother spent years in a chair waiting to die. She'd always say "getting old isn't for sissies"
I agree with her. And I'm a sissy. Oh well!
