I'm scared it will be painful and I will feel panicked before I pass out. Its my only option and I really want to go soon but that fear stops me. When I try using my hands to pull it tight I feel yuck and stop before I pass out.

have you tried to stand on a chair with the tightened noose around your neck and take a big amount of sleeping pills?

Full only works with a little height. A chair or stool is easiest and very stable. Courage and desire are needed to take the step. How you get that is the question. Pills would do it. Just stand there until you pass out.

There isn't a lot of height and I would have my head quite close to the supporting beam so it's only a few inches drop. I'm thinking you'd still wake up when you drop wouldn't you?

Probably less drop than slump over. In a news story a while ago, a young lady did this with the canned air used to clean keyboards. Once you are suspended by the noose there really is no going back. Awake or not, the whole purpose is to get to that point.

I'm just worried about my SI kicking in and either botching it or having my last moments be awful
