So I got an idea watching Flowers in the Attic.

Could you use small doses of rat poison or some other poison to cause organ damage and die of complications. This could be good for those wanting to CTB quietly. Especially for those of us who can't handle violent methods.

Thoughts?

I saw a video of someone doing this a while back. The man specifically ingested rat poison which, yes, caused organ damage— but also caused him to begin vomitting blood and chunks of viscera. It looked extremely painful and grotesque. It wouldn't be a good option for anyone that wants to CTB quietly.

There really isn't a method that doesn't, I'm finding. Like no method sounds quote-on-quote "fun" unless you're like a psycho or something.
It's not black and white some hurt more than others and some hurt longer than others

Movies are not real life. You can ingest chemicals that will slowly destroy your organs, but you will feel it long before you die. This is basically what smoking/alcoholism does to you. It is not like you are fine and then suddenly die, you can spends months or years suffering symptoms as your body slowly gives out.

Not all effective methods are violent. Just choose one of the effective nonviolent methods.

Rat poison mainly works on rats due to their inability to vomit. Thus the name "Rat" poison. And (according to my unreliable memory), the industry has put some effort into making it less lethal on humans (such as making it cause you to vomit at even minor doses) due to many using it to assassinate others.

Ingesting rat poison is on the same level as drinking bleach. I strongly advise against it

please don't try rat poison because you will just end up vomiting it , rat poisons have been modified to be non lethal to humans because of many accidental ingestion by children so I don't recommend at all!

With the longer effect taking methods- like slow poisoning or VSED, it's not just the level of pain/ discomfort I think that might be the problem- it's the (unknown) length of time a person would have to live with it till they died. Like SI spread over days/ weeks rather than minutes.

I tried to wait out gallstones (without initially knowing it was that causing the pain,) in the hopes that would kill me. But, after long enough, I found all I wanted was to be out of pain. So, I sought treatment. I think it requires so much resolve- plus, confidence in the method itself to sit out an unknown period of pain.

Taking rat poison sounds awful, but it could still work. Yes, far less likely because of changes because apparently the government is super effective when destroying one of our methods is up for debate. Why??? Let us go when we want!!!

I imagine a gunshot to the brain would be an immediate or near immediate death. Probably painless too bc of adrenaline and shock. (Assuming you don't survive)

Wouldn't you eventually vomit the rat poison?
