hi everyone, so i managed to get access to a firearm and i think it's much more reliable than my previous method, though it is a bit inconvenient because of its shape and im very short but im going to try and make it work once i figure out how to operate it, im completely unfamiliar with firearms and no one in my family has ever owned on had one before, im assuming normally noone would have access to one without being familiar with it but i didnt get it normally

i was wondering is anyone familiar with any sites that could access me with general operation of it? i assume most firearms function the same but i don't really understand alot of terms or videos i tried watching, are there any sites or manuals for beginners? i don't know all of the specifics but i was told this one is called a ruger 22 carbine rifle, im not sure of anything else but i tried reverse image searching it with a picture and it just brings up all sorts of different models, they did say a rifle isn't exactly the best firearm for something like this but im very very limited on options and running out of time-

i had looked into where to shoot though so i don't think that will be a problem and im confident in aiming but im just confused on the operation and i don't want to accidentally discharge it and alert people that i have a firearm while trying to figure out how it works

if anyone can assist or steer me in the right direction i would greatly appreciate it !!

It's a Ruger 22 (probably a 10/22) then it's only .22 caliber.

Take it to a shooting range and get experience with shooting a gun. But other than target shooting or hunting small game, I wouldn't recommend it for anything else. Not even self-defense.

Only way thats going to kill you is if you put it in your mouth and aim above the back of your throat.

Would not recommend a .22 for ctb. It's incredibly unlikely to work and most likely will leave you severely injured but alive.

Ditto. You are more likely to screw yourself up bad than kill yourself with a .22.

agree with the others......does not sound like a plan one should go through with.......may end up way worse off....

I'm planning on a 9mm gunshot to the head and I still want to pair it with a jump from the cliffs of my profile pic. A .22 without any other methods stacked on is never something I would try. It's a tiny bullet and I've seen large possums literally shrug off body shots with it.
