I've been watching The Power of Myth these past few days, as I find Joseph Campbell's insight interesting and his voice very soothing. I like Alan Watts in the same way, and find both of their teachings to be helpful and comforting.

Who are some people who come to mind for you? I need some new stuff for my mind to chew on to stay sane. I'd like to hear your thoughts and recommendations

I used to get this from the library ....

I found Mary Midgley and Henri Bergson from it ... as well as feeling completely ignorant when they talk about Kant and Wittgenstein and a whole lot of other stuff that is totally beyond me .

some of the smaller articles are quite accessible though .

The lovely thing about it is the way that things are not accepted , as opposed to the everyday expectations in 'the world' .

They market a CD of back issues .... I've looked on line for a copy but can't find one .

----- Looking like a nope , thoroughly monetized now .... the old issues advertized a back issue collection CD , no longer available ... damn .

They have a message board that looks possibley interesting ...
