• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

Too bad pharma can't create a drug to make that ok. Maybe I should contact the American psychiatric association and recommend they invent a new illness. Failure to build a life disorder. I'm sure antipsychotics would be their answer.

Haha. This one has sprung to mind.
> Floruit (/ˈflɔːrju.ɪt/; abbreviated fl. or occasionally flor.; from Latin for "flourished") denotes a date or period during which a person was known to have been alive or active In English, the unabbreviated word may also be used as a noun indicating the time when someone flourished.

I wouldn't be to hard on yourself. In the US we seem to have entered a period of economic decline that we enjoyed in the aftermath of WW2. Now people try to measure themselves against a standard that's no longer so readily available.

In addition, we seem to be in a period of social decline where many of the community oriented aspects of society, such as clubs, that allow us to form long-term connections are also disappearing and we are isolated from each other.

I only have personal knowledge of the US but it seems like other developed nations have similar problems.
