For hanging, partial or other, I struggle a lot with the knots. Would getting a rope with an eye splice or thimble work? Or just making an eye splice/thimble on the rope itself, allowing it to tighten by being pulled through the thimble?
Then you ust pull the rope through the eye splice loop, and it will tighten?

I'm not so sure. I just tried.
I'm not an expert on knots, but these two are easy. I learned them by watching YouTube tutorials..

- overhand loop knot
- noose knot: it tightens under load.

(I'm attaching a photo of what they look like)

Tie the overhand loop knot and use it like the last pic. It makes the best ligature.

Thanks guys. I have tried those knots too. I seriously think it might be the rope, because no matter what I try I don't lose consciousness quickly enough (partial suspension is my only option)
