Hi everyone, although my nitrogen exit bag set up has been ready for quite some time, I am a bit confused how far up within the bag should the mouth of the nozzle coming from the flowmeter be.
Mine comes up to just near my ear. I am asking because I have seen in some set up pics here that the nozzle reaches the top of the headline. Does it make any difference?

I was taught that the higher up, the better. Reason being, the bag fills with nitrogen from where the tube ends, and the exhaled co2 & excess nitrogen exits at the bottom by your neck. Two opposite actions, filling and emptying, therefore, the farther away these two opposite actions are happening, the better. If it's filling close to where it's emptying, is it really doing either one that well? Also, since we first let it fill before pulling it down, it makes more sense that it would start filling from the top.

Thank you so much for replying. What you said makes perfect sense. In my last attempt, I scrunched the bag and first let it fill with the gas and the hose was placed halfway through and it did inflate, so you think the inflated bag had somehow o2 seeped in as well.

Maybe. I just think this gives it the best chance of going smoothly, with the ingress & egress as far apart as we can get them. May I ask, were you just not passing out? What was the experience like? Any euphoric feeling?

Thank you. In my attempt, nothing happened, no passing out or euphonism. After about 15 seconds or so I took it off.
