I see some people taking huge amounts (even with antiemetics) and just surviving..
For one reason or another are there certain types of people who basically cannot CTB with SN?

It sounds scary. I thought it was 100% reliable with 25g. Damn !

My understanding is that SN usually fails because the person was found too early and saved, or they threw up and nothing got absorbed. Aside from being rescued, I'm pretty sure the biggest cause of failure is throwing up and nothing getting absorbed. While it's true that it might only take 1g to kill a person, that won't matter if your body doesn't actually absorb any of it. It doesn't help that a lot of people who take SN don't use an antiemetic either, and my understanding is that SN is very easy for the body to just throw all up. My assumption is that the high success rate of SN only refers to when the full protocol is followed, not just taking SN on an empty stomach and hoping for the best. I wonder if the SN success rate is actually inflated because of this.

My method is going to be SN, but I have no access to antiemetics and I throw up easily so honestly I have little confidence in succeeding. I'm considering backup methods.

No. Either purity of sn issues and/or being found/calling for help is what cause failure. It's proved lethal even after vomiting with or without an AE.

I have no antiemetics either, thats what will be scary.

On top of that, there are outliers where protocol isn't exactly followed and its still very much capable of being lethal, not saying to deviate completely but it shows that the biggest reason is being found in time enough to reverse rising MetHb levels but that varies on dose and body weight although I find exceptions to also be anyone with GERD issues that may cause an attempt to be unsuccessful. Been intresting having these conversations for 2 years now.

Can you point to the examples of this that you have seen?

GERD? Really? Acid reflux causes people to be unsuccessful?

Dante, Good day. Have you personally been aware of attempts that have been successful with GERD/stomach issues where AE have been used?

I have found some threads that referenced GERD, but not sure about the efficacy in the end. I would appreciate any knowledge you could share. Thank you
