No, it doesn't. If I were to hear you talk in a conversation, I wouldn't think you're unintelligent.

No. The thoughts you conveyed are well articulated, you have good inflection in your tone, and, above all, you conveyed them in a cohesive, meaningful way.

in my opinion is pretty normal voice, really nothing wrong with your voice, but if you have insecurity with that can go for some speech therapy and listen a professional opinion, not big deal at all

Sorry it bothers you so much. I can understand why you'd be upset and I can hear the slight impediment, but I think empathetic people would understand and wouldn't criticize you. Anyone who would treat you differently based on a slight speech issue wouldn't be worth your time in my opinion. I grew up around intellectually impaired people in my family and it's ingrained in my personality to be understanding about speech issues. I have body dysmorphia and can't stand the way I look. I spend hours in front of the mirror obsessing over it. I guess some of us just have issues like that where we are very sensitive to how we are perceived by others. I think it's quite common, you have lots of company.

Thank you. Do I sound unintelligent? I guess that is a dumb question.

Did Stephen Hawking sound stupid? He couldn't speak, walk or even move his body at all, but he was one of the most brilliant minds to ever live. I've met people with cerebral palsy who could barely get words out and they had masters degrees.

The tone of your voice is of someone who is quite intelligent.

Not at all brother. One of my dad's best friends has a speech impediment like you and he graduated at the top of his class and even received some type of Dean's award or something in college. Idk what it's called. I understood every word you said just fine man.

Your voice is fine and some words sound mumbled, but you don't come of unintelligent at all.

No, a little hard to understand but you spoke much more concisely and to the point than a lot of people do. To me an unintelligent sounding person is one who can go on and on and say absolutely nothing. What makes you want to share your voice online though? The thought of doing that makes me nervous.

I'll be honest. I had trouble understanding one section of the clip (the majority of the first half), and of course the speech impediment is apparent.
(I have slight speech issues myself, but of a somewhat different nature and more minor, but similar slurring at times and people often misinterept me based on my pronunciation of certain letters, etc. I have to be focused on my vocalization in order to keep it intelligible.
May also have something to do with the fact that I rarely speak for extended periods of time and possess physical jaw/teeth/mouth issues.)
However you don't come across as unintelligent, you come across as self-aware and competent, just trying to get through the impediment.
I understand why it bothers you and how unfair it is to have others so easily judge and assess you based on something outside of your control.

Would speech therapy help at all in your case?
(If it's something that has become too much of a barrier.)
