Help Do you think cap gun caps could be used as an alternative to percussion caps?

Considering CTB'ing with a percussion pistol (only antique firearms are legal in my country), but I don't have any access to percussion caps. Do you reckon cap gun caps would work as a substitute or I should try purchasing a flintlock pistol?
