do you know, maybe a family member of yours, who's a cleaning staff in a hotel and they walked in on the aftermath of a suicide?
or whatever similar profession where that might happen.
and if you know, then i assume they told you the details about it and how it made them feel.
i would suspect traumatized...

but if ever i hypothetically hanged myself in a place like that, i would hypothetically wear a pillow sheet or hat over my face.

I understand why people say don't traumatize staff, or train conductors, etc. but my brain doesn't care anymore. I don't plan anything like that but if I could I wouldn't care. I know it's not right

well, there's ways to make it at least less traumatizing for them, for example with the pillow sheet over the head.
so at least someone could hypothetically do that, if ever it came that far, and if there was absolutely no other way

twice. the staff was more concerned about the fact that they might be held accountable for the death of said people than of their death itself

i can kinda understand that paranoia, because sometimes innocent people do get caught up in shit like that, where it looks like they were involved.
i bet they still felt terrible about the suicide tho, but just more paranoid about getting falsely accused of a murder or something.

... so was this a cleaning staff that you know personally, or someone relatively close to you?

It's obviously possible that your attempt traumatizes the staffs.
I'm not a hotel worker, but I found a story where a staff found a body hanging. (Japanese link, with deepl translation)

At least in Japan, staffs (probably front?) will find your body at first. It is strongly recommended to display a warning in front of the door to avoid traumatize them unless you don't care.

Technically not a suicide but..buy... on the subject of death in a hotel room...Um I was in a hotel when me and my girlfriend both oded many years ago . She died from her overdose and it was a huge mess ...

Hotel staff wasn't thrilled that they had to get a special cleaning service for the room.

I wouldn't want a child to see it or the few good people that exist in the world. But most adults are part of the systemic discrimination and abuse that leads others to suicide, so perhaps seeing it might give them pause to question the system.
