I'm thinking of starting DIY HRT, I'm FTM and American so it's relatively easy to obtain. The only real concern I have is whether or not taking the oral testosterone route is viable? Most of my guides only cover injections, and I'm too much of a pussy with a pain phobia to commit that far, but if push comes to shove I might. Can anyone with experience with DIY give me advice on this? Whether it's which Testosterone to buy or to forgo the idea of oral all together. Thanks!

I'm ftm too. Unfortunately you can't take testosterone orally.. it won't absorb and can be bad for your liver. I was terrified of doing injections at first but honestly after the first few times you can get used to it. Also, you can get t-gel, but idk how to get that for DIY. It's a topical testosterone

You could always try for smaller needles or even a auto injections.

There are actually oral forms for legal diy! Older orally administered testosterones did damage the liver, but undecanoate, a newer one, tends to be safer! But I'm not sure about its absorption! I know undecanoate is available on the site im using, but I'm not sure if others have tried this! If anything I'll suck it up and go with injections, since i'm not sure there are any transdermal options through my vendor :(. I'm simply worried about the mechanics of injecting Testosterone, but my guide provides instructions! Thank you for the reassurance!!

Auto injectors do sound really helpful! I'm okay with managing pain but I always tend to panic if I have to inject myself manually, so that might ease my anxiety! Thank you!

I just started injections and I use diabetic needles and I don't feel them at all ... idk if that's the same for trans men but it works for me...
