Someone recently told me it costs £1000 to keep a patient in hospital for 24hours obs
II must've spent 50+ days from mere alcohol withdrawal liver disease/seizures
Then 70 days on mental health wards which has got to be much more.
Then several surgeries for broken bones that wouldn't have happened if my genetic disorder was treated and I wasn't under alcohol
If I'd have recieved the help it would have took to correct my malformation it would have cost about £10000 absolute max Originally I asked for a few blood tests that would have coat less than £100
But I was denied them so basically they destroyed me and caused so much cost for £100
People who say that's in you you should have just got on with it, are saying a kid should have killed themselves to save £100
Its just made me sick
Forgot to add up... So if the hospital stay cost is true I will have cost the system at least £140,000
Giving a surgery a very low average of 2000
Not to mention the other costs to society like law and rooms in hostels is less productive than running an apartment.
