Someone started a thread earlier this morning about them having purchased one (presumably before it was pulled from the market for revisions) and mentioned that the design was flimsy and it looked unreliable... which is unfortunate, since aside from SN it looks like it'd be our best bet.

Its a shame people got their hopes up that this would be the easy way out. I know I did when I read about it.

There *might* still be hope for the upcoming redesign... but I know that ultimately It's just me being unrealistic and clinging onto any slim chance at obtaining a peaceful exit (no matter how improbable) that presents itself to me. :ahhha:

yes i have it at home, i am very sceptical now... since i mentioned in another thread it was tightened with TESA. When i opened it carefully some of the soda lime granules spread on the floor (horrible smell btw)... i am really disappointed... i am not sure if it would work if i fixed the apparatus with some stronger ducttape or whatever... but this initial construction is really very cheap ... i mean they are working on a better version, but i really wonder if some people succeeded with the version that i have?? for that money they could have really designed something much more effective and reliable, nothing that would fall apart after removing it from the package :( i am upset about it
