Dead butterfly

I saw this in the news! It was kind of Tirol challenge not suicide but it killed him.

What kind of challenge is injecting a dead butterfly, genuinely so bizarre. It does remind me of that guy who was dared to eat a slug which gave him a parasite and killed him, what an awful way to go.
