Cruel site users

[Meditation guide]

I've run into a couple of users on this site who are trolling. I just wanted to say that it's even more cruel than the usual trolling you see on other sites. I won't mention any names but it's evil to try to screw with people like us on this site who are already suffering enough. Yet it happens. Today, on two threads.

Sadistic fake information given out seems to be the favored way. I can imagine them snickering.

What I mean, as one example, is someone who claimed they fit 25 grams of SN into 4 capsules, 000 size.
They posted a picture of it. Since one 000 capsule only holds one gram this is not possible.

This is not the kind of thing you immediately think of as trolling but I don't know what else it could be. Maybe trolling is not the right word, and at first glance you can't really figure it out unless you give it some thought.

There are other ways too that mess with people that I see.

false hope is a horrible thing. im wondering if its one of those pro life users sending misinformation so people get misinformed and take it only to not die...

granted you could take 25 capsules of one gram as well but someones already mentioned reasons why that might not be handy

That is very dangerous Med. I sincerely hope you reported them. That is sadistic to say the least. Have they been banned yet? Stupid, ignorant bas...rd.

My first thought upon seeing the picture of the capsules was that the guy was a bit dumb . Not trying to offend anyone but there is a ton of misinformation on here due to stupidity. At least I think it more likely than undercover pro-lifers and sneaky sadists.

Being an incredibly angry (although not violent) person, my attitude would be to identify those trolls and destroy them. (Having been a Ritalin skinny kid, and the only one on amphetamines growing up in my area, I never had violence as an option for self defense, the smallest and weakest child in my school, not just beaten on by other boys, but especially by other girls, a gang of Lucy Van Pelts right out of the Peanuts comic strip to my Charlie Brown. I'm cursed, a straight male who grew up hating girls and can never have a healthy relationship because of all that.)

I'm actually a helper by nature. (I truly wish I wasn't.) Hence I've posted information on Autogenic Training for migraine sufferers, and just posted a suggestion on trying a Voldyne Spirometer for practicing diaphragmatic breathing for posters suffering from anxiety who might like an alternative to benzodiazepines for relief of clinical anxiety (although I personally require clonazepam and alprazolam for relief of clinical anxiety and anger). Being a chronic helper who has also been bullied and abused by teachers, principals and psychologists also means I can be savagely protective though, so when I detect trolls, my inclination is to rip right into the fuckers. (Obviously, I'm still very much struggling to adjust to participating here, a site with a lot of females, where I've spend the last 13 years posting on sites with an almost exclusively straight male membership.)

I still wonder if what was meant was milligrams instead of grams. A credible and tech savvy poster (I am not tech savvy) is somebody I'd expect to be posting pics of such claims.

Aside from a few lovely people I've found this to be true.

I also notice a lot of aggressive posters and provocation of infighting. It makes me sad because when I first found this site I found it so refreshing how welcome, warm and open-minded this place was. Now a lot of the threads remind me of reddit or other social media .

The world has already hurt us so much, why must we hurt each other in what is supposed to be a safe space?

there are extremely suspicious things i often read on this forum. It seems that some just want to deceive you while others want attention. I don't know what makes someone do this, whether it is because they are needy or just for the pleasure of deceiving other.

Some seems to be pro-lifers trying to "save" you through fear. We know that this kind of tactic is common among them.

Exactly!!!! I am confused about how people use this forum sometimes! It seems to be an outlet to start arguments and be paranoid ("THAT'S NOT WHAT I MEANT!!!!" - maybe you wrote shit and don't make sense?!) and for people to jump in on other user's post to compete over who feels worse.
So, on the topic of how to use this site, to be clear: no posting incorrect method information or urging people.

to be fair though, you are both right. (if its the post i believe you are talking about if not then ignore this lol) everyone has SI, hence why its hard to "jump" but if youre having a bad enough day, your SI dwindles down quite a bit and at that point the coin flips and its hard to talk yourself down. ive been in both situations myself (just never had my method. when you cant it because a little easier to not lol)
