The suicide rate has risen sharply for young women and IMO, revenge porn and sexual bullying are a huge contributing factor. Girls lives are destroyed and there are never any consequences for the guys because our idiot judges and lawmakers pretend "nobody knows how computers work". So girls just ctb, fuck it, why go on living in a world like that?

I am so torn between wanting the girl to live or die. If she lives there are only consequences for her, she will be treated like garbage the rest of her life while he just gets a slap on the wrist, maybe probation, if anything.
But if she dies, he gets the electric chair. And he's already destroyed her life anyway even if she lives, with possible brain damage. At least if she dies he won't get to do it again to someone else.
There really is no bright side here. But not only would I love it if this shitbag gets the death penalty for murder, I would happily pull the lever myself (on him and thousands more just like him if I could, really). I am also loving that he is 18 so the DA can't charge him as a minor and let him escape justice that way. I hope the girl is a Senator's daughter so this case can't just be swept under the rug by a woman-hating judge like they usually are.
I honestly think she will be fine because she got medical attention fast, but I will still love it if she dies so he gets the death penalty. Fuck that dirtbag.

Is it me or does Forbes article use male suicide rate and methods as a perfectly normal and healthy thing but consider female suicide rate getting close to it a problem? And saying that girls have more emotional issues probably ignore the fact that boys are told to tough it up.
That said, I actually wonder what are the reasons for suicide other than bullying for young teens and in what proportion they are.
And yeah this kind of guy should be disposed of, as well as some politics.

Can you quote where in the article it said suicide is a normal healthy thing for males? Or were you just projecting that?

While healthy might be a bit of a stretch, and i don't really know where i got this, they are more concerned about an increase on one side than an over-the-top rate on the other.

It's good for people to aware of the suicide problem for both genders, but it's not a competition. Let's get back on topic. :)

The difference being that older males commit suicide at a higher rate, but the rates among young girls is increasing at a much faster rate. You don't see why the writer of this article would be more troubled by this statistic? Also men usually commit suicide for vastly different reasons than women. How often have you heard of a man committing suicide because someone posted revenge porn of him online? I'm not saying it doesn't happen, I'm saying that shit happens to girls all the time. I'm also not saying one life is more valuable than the other. All forms of suicide are bad, but somebody young killing themselves because of the disgusting actions of another human being is horrific. This article says a lot about our society and it isn't pretty.
