It is actually a complicated method. Some notes:
- You need to find a way to constantly administer chloroform. It evaporates rather quickly from a rag so needs a constant re-application.
- You can easily make yourself sick. If you huff too much at once it can lead to nausea and vomiting so you can not just YOLO it.
- It affects people differently. I got over the dizziness and recovered pretty quickly while another user on this site supposedly huffed just a little and was dizzy for an hour.
- It's VERY alkaline. You can potentially get chemical burns from it.
Now I saw all of this because I tried to use chloroform as part of my method and it backfired on me. Instead of peacefully drifting off to death, I passed out for a few minutes after which I puked all over my floor and had vertigo for three days.
Back in the day, when chloroform was first discovered, it was used as an anesthetic to knock out people for surgery. Unfortunately, chloroform is tricky, and people died from an overdose. So, is it possible to kill yourself with chloroform? Yes. Is it EASY? I do not think so.
One more thing, even though there are numerous videos of how to produce chloroform, chemical reactions can be tricky and are never perfect. Trying to produce these chemicals at home can lead to accidents and a product that is not what you think it is. I honestly would not try it.
