Chipped my tooth eating cereal

Both hilarious and concerning. Why are some cereals like a mouthful of rocks? Seriously. This chip is bigger than when I bit into a fork. Feel like I'm actually falling apart.
How was your morning? And what kind of cereal do you like?

I'm sorry about your tooth that sucks a lot. I chipped my tooth on a fork and it was agonising, and I hate looking at the chip in the mirror every day now. My morning was dull and mediocre as usual. I haven't eaten cereal in while now but Tesco do these nice 'choco-nut pillows' that I liked a lot.

Cereal makes up practically half my diet. Eating non-kid cereal lets me pretend I'm being healthy (fiber! whole grains! wow!) and if I want to eat trash I can always fall back on Cocoa Puffs or whatever.
Just as a PSA, I recently tried Pokemon cereal and it was... bad. Very bad. Don't make the same mistake I did. And, tangentially related, never buy 3 of something you've never tried before just because they're on sale for a dollar each.

No, luckily it didn't. I just felt something against the inside of my mouth and looked at it in the mirror. It's just more sensitive, not super noticeable unless you get closer to it. Thanks.

That's worse than cutting the roof of your mouth while eating Cap'n Crunch...
Were you eating Grape-Nuts (which is neither grapes nor nuts; discuss)? Or Quarry?
"Like swimming holes and brimming bowls of cereal made...from stone." -SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE (video clip not available because NBC is stingy with the good stuff...)
I can't eat cereal with milk much now, because of the milk. But as a kid? Cocoa Puffs. As an adult? Life, and Chex. And Cocoa Puffs.

Lmfao
Never had Cap'n Crunch, but I hear it's not pleasant. Like sugar-coated glass. XD
I was eating Annie's Fruity Bunnies & Blossoms! Not a favourite, but it was there. I haven't had Grape Nuts in ages, I used to love 'em. And, without googling the origin of the name (which I've done and have forgotten the answer), the only part I can decipher would be that it has a "nutty" flavour.
And not a fan of milk? I use soy or almond. Can't drink regular.

I broke a tooth on Cornflakes once. I mean, what gives??
My dentist said it's not necessarily the biting down, it's the suction when you release your bite, cornflakes become sticky.. anyways, yeah. Cornflakes. I kid you not.
This was during the lockdown too.
I like Mini Wheats, Corn Pops and Fruit Loops though the last two scrape the skin off the roof of my mouth.
Give me my sugar in the morning!!

So you got me curious, and weirdly enough the official website uses almost your exact phrasing. "Grape-Nuts actually contains neither grapes nor nuts." The site also gives two origin stories, both of which are probably BS. And I just learned about the "Mrs. Burke, I thought you were Dale!" thing, so thank you for introducing me to that cultural tidbit.

Hah, thank you. I just got that from an old SNL skit (when Mike Myers used to do the Jewish lady character in "Coffee Talk", and would get all "verklempt"...) I didn't know that Post cereal actually said that...(I wonder if that's where they say it, now...)
I haven't chipped my tooth but I simp for cinnamon toast crunch
I grabbed it like a madman in the mental hospitals lmfao
Also the leftover cereal milk is the second best part about cereal besides how easy it is
There's also this icecream from coolhaus called cereal milk that I'm pretty sure uses ctc but doesn't explicitly say so and I'm addicted
and I'm craving ice cream :>

You are a person of impeccable taste. Cinnamon toast crunch (curiously cinnamon in the UK) is the food of god's. That means we are god's and should be worshipped as such. Bow down fuckers.

Heh...
"Now I ask you, why should I kill this 'Count Chocula'?"
"Because that son of a b*tch has been spreading lies! My cereal does NOT cut the roof of your mouth!"

YES! Cocoa Puffs are my drug of choice (well, one of them, anyway). They're already great but the chocolate milk left over afterwards is a delightful bonus
Fuck, man, that sucks! Luckily I didn't get down to the nerve or anything, I'm just letting it go, it's pretty small. Just being extra cautious now, haha.
That sounds amazing, but discard the "naughty" part. ;)
I put cocoa powder in mine and add sugar now to challenge myself, and PB is always a must. Fruit and yoghurt is great, too! Both are wonderful any day.

I remember when I was about 11 in primary school I cracked my tooth while eating lunch in the cafeteria and it was so loud everybody at the table heard it!
The worst part was that it didn't fall off completely it was hanging off the roof the whole day and I had to wait until I could go home to go to the dentist because my teachers were evil af I was too afraid to say anything.
