While tragedy can build momentum over generations, hope can come from those who have managed to break such a pattern. It should be a reminder to offer encouragement to those who struggle under the burden of their inheritance.

There's a term for generational trauma. It's inter-generational trauma. I just recently learned about this. My life would have been different if more people knew about this. The human brain is truly amazing.
