I heard about this method after the main actor from Parasite kiled himself this way. After further reading, other korean and japanese people have taken themselves out this way. I can't find a specific way to do this. I understand to have coal lit either in a few frying pans, and to have all air entries blocked off with something (some kind of insulation foam? Tape? And some mentioned a coal cooking element. Please can somebody let me know how this is done!! I understand it can be done with coal in a cast iron pan on a non-flammable surface (to set the pan down) but they also mention portable coal stoves or something in the korean articles, and they mention that the doors are blocked off with some black something, and that one time a person had smoke show up in public and they were interrupted and survived, which is the worst possible scenario. This way right now seems like a dream come true. I just need to know the specifics, and it's hard to find. Small room, coal smoke, and please help with the other details!!?

I think so... I apologize. I couldn't navigate throughout the forum very easily. I was looking for information specifically about using a charcoal grill or charcoal in a pan in a closed room. Is that explained in carbon monoxide thread of some sort? And if so could you link me to it?
Oh, gosh. I see a link to such. I'm very confused about the layout of this site. Perhaps you already did. My apologies!!

Omg, sorry. I see now you did link. Sorry!!! This website confuses me tbh. Thank you!

I don't know if you are still here, but I heard CO method could be very painful. It's one of the easiest method to gather ingredients, but painful. You might want to use sleeping peel or sedatives with it.

Carbon monoxide (CO) poisoning is not painful. Are you maybe thinking of carbon dioxide (CO2)?

I have seen many korean people who failed to ctb telling other people of pain after they wake up from I believe CO poisoning. Maybe I am wrong, but they were using charcoals for sure.

If you fail, I think the dizziness and nausea comes terribly as well with headaches. Unless you are passed out ( if there is a slight bit of air), you will feel the symptoms.

Oh yes there are headaches associated with carbon monoxide sorry!! You're right, if the ppm of CO isn't high enough, you may experience some pain. I was only thinking about pain of suffocation, my bad

Ugh.... I'm so upset hearing this now.
Why is there no easy way??? This makes me extremely upset. In Canada it seems to be homelessness or suicide right now. I was really banking on this method.
I do have access to gabapentin and a few clonazepam a month because I have panic disorder... so I'm hoping that if I save up for a few months and maybe knock back a few drinks, it won't be as painful? Gabapentin can be used for pain. I get 300 very low dose ones every 3 months.
I was going to follow up today and ask how a person can make sure that their room is totally enclosed and now smoke comes through the bottom of the door or the windows? I imagine I can use caulking to secure the windows but the door worries me. I definitely don't want to be setting off any smoke alarm

You would definitely want to disable the fire alarm. It will go off no matter what you do if it's on. People usually seal the door and windows with duck tapes.
