Cant think of anything but OD being my only option

since my last attempt back in November I can't think of any other methods aside the one i tried, when i think of killing myself i can only think of ODing on my prescribed meds since its the most accessible to me.

November 3rd was when i was genuinely so close to dying, i nearly swallowed over 1000 mgs of prozac but i got talked out of it by one of my old friends. Now that thoughts of suicide have come back I'm thinking of trying to OD again. Im just worried i might traumatize my family since if i do ever plan on ODing this wouldn't be the first death by meds in my family, my family lost one of my cousins to OD back in 2022.

Im just scared of survival instincts kicking in and i spit out the meds after putting them in my mouth since that has happened before, also i'm scared of getting seizures during it, if anything i wanna die peacefully. Those are my main concerns right now with my method but i have time to rethink my approach on CTB, i don't plan on doing anything until after spring.

I wouldn't recommend ODing. They can fail misserable. They can give you brain damage, organ failure, disability, paralyzis. It's really uncomfortable. You also won't just immediately pass out and peacefully die. It can be a huge pain in the ass. Also to have it work for sure you'd need to take a HUGE amount of pills / dosage.

Another thing, I wouldn't recommend CTBing when you aren't fully sure yet. You could change your mind and feel worse afterwards. Many survivors regent it deeply afterwards since they weren't sure yet about doing it and weren't thinking that much about the consequences. Either way I hope you can figure it out soon and find what's the right path for you<3

Have you thought about SN? CTB by prescription meds is not recommended

Honestly thats what i feared,, i might just drop the OD plan all together after reading that thread you linked,, also the risk of survival isnt worth it

Please look at the "non-methods that should not be attempted" sticky. You will throw up. None will work anyway. Do your research.

The best methods I think are like gunshot (but I doubt most people have a gun / firearm), hanging (if done right), jumping (if it's high enough), getting hit my a train (without jumping, making the train hit ur neck. Best way would be lying down on the rails with the neck.)

Idk much about the chemical stuff so I can't talk about that too much.
I thought drowning can be good too but I don't know much about drowning either so I don't wanna say anything wrong.
