Buying N - still possible?

Hi there, I'm wondering if it's still possible to source Halatal in Peru? PPH seems to suggest Lima and Cusco but recent posts on here seem to suggest that's not possible anymore. I was thinking of heading to some other cities to try where they may not be as aware of what it's being used for. Does anyone have any thoughts / insights?

Forget N. Even 10 years ago it was almost impossible to get. These days even looking for it is just asking for trouble.

No one's gone to cities other than the two in the PPH and documented it here as far as I know. I'd have done it already if so. If you can speak Spanish, it might increase your chances. Getting a local to help you out is probably the way to go, but it is risky...

A while back on this forum there was a guy (not that long ago) who posted the WhatsApp contact of a gentleman in peru named Felipe he sold veterinary products and all u had to do was go to peru and get in touch with him and u could have access to halatal without a problem i contacted him on WhatsApp myself cuz i know spanish and he did respond quickly enough. I'm pretty sure there's still plenty of places out there in south America especially peru where u can come across halatal and it's equivalents so it's definitely worth following that trail
