Burning charcoal

So I tried partial, full suspension, I felt all those feeling. Now the final one. Burning charcoal. Anyone know how should I keep the coal burn if I don't have that grill that burnt charcoal? In Malaysia grill are expensive and I don't have the money to buy. Can I use a metal
Plate to place it and burnt the coal on top of it

The carbon monoxide thread has a lot of discussion about the charcoal method: https://sanctioned-suicide.net/threads/carbon-monoxide-megathread.2053/ You don't need a grill but a chimney starter makes things much easier if you can find one.

The rope broke. My survival instint. Before I lost consciousness completely. I can feel that my leg and hand are struggling, legs kicking out of control and the rope broke
