Is this possible? If you fall backwards while sitting, from a 5 storey tower or building, will it be possible to land heads first? What impacts this? Wind and weather that day? Clothes that are being worn?
You would need to control it. Physically. Like a diver. Is this possible? If you fall backwards while sitting, from a 5 storey tower or building, will it be possible to land heads first? What impacts this? Wind and weather that day? Clothes that are being worn?
Like, with just physical strength? What are the physics behind jumping? Do you flip around or something? You would need to control it. Physically. Like a diver.
Hypothetically, if i wore more layers, and carried something heavy, would it keep me the way I want?Well idk because I don't think I could pull this off. Just jumping would be tough and this would be with some intent. Idk probably like diving into a pool is what I mean, but that's not going to be easy, plus you're at a low height. But you're desperate and I certainly understand that.
You're not falling that far so I don't think layers or wind are going to affect much. I'm not sure I can help more here.Hypothetically, if i wore more layers, and carried something heavy, would it keep me the way I want?
Maybe I can look at head down skydiving tutorials so I have an idea of how to posture myself?Skydivers, base jumpers for example know how to control their body during the free fall. So it's possible, but you need lots of training and experience.
I doubt that anyone else can really control their body during a jump from a building.
Thinking of this...wouldn't that mean my body wouldn't change much? Since it's a decently quick fall there wouldn't be enough time for my body to fling around either, would there? You're not falling that far so I don't think layers or wind are going to affect much. I'm not sure I can help more here.
But I understand how you feel. I keep searching for some magic answer to getting this done and there just isn't one.
What should I wear? It'd be hot February day. Australian heat is harsh and I'm too self conscious to have skin exposed...I would rethink falling from 5 stories. While it's high enough that it can kill you, if it doesn't you will be left with a far worse state of being. You also should not wear extra layers, this will soften any blow and you need as much initial trauma upon impact the lower the height
Free climbing gym. We are taught to fall backwards if we don't have the strength to get back down. The first time felt impossible to let go. By the 5th time it was only an instinct in the back of my head to not let go. I enjoyed the falls at that point, it was kinda thrilling.Watch some action movies where stuntmen fall. They initiate the jump slowly, so as not to induce momentum, which would definitely hinder any control you might have. But, they have lots of training, too, and they fall onto airbags. Not sure how you could train for a one-time jump, though.
Jesus, how was he physically after the act? If I may ask.I know guy who jumped headfirst from the 5 floor. Survived because he landed on a flower bed. He also said that without thinking, instinctively covered his head with his hands. I don't think that had any effect, but he was under the influence of alcohol, acid, and meph
dunno, I met him 16 hours before jump, he was my bro's bro. An hour after he ate the paper (100-150 mcg), he attacked us with a knife. We barely managed to get him out of the apartment. He knocked on the neighbors' door, and for some reason I dont understand, they let him in, and he jumped off the balcony right there. Dunno what happened to him after that, but this summer he was in a mental hospital. It was an unforgettable trip to Petersburg. Apologize for the syntax of my sentences, Im very bad at engJesus, how was he physically after the act? If I may ask
Regardless I appreciate the context. I'm glad everyone came out of it relatively okay. Sounds like an awful experience to be apart of.dunno, I met him 16 hours before jump, he was my bro's bro. just read that it's not moral but physical... I didn't ask for details, but he has something wrong with his stomach and broken bones in his left arm, legs, and ribs.
