I have access to a lot of Blood Pressure meds. Lercanidipine Hydrochloride. Candesartan Cilexetil. Bisoprolol Fumarate. Bendroflumethiazide. Amlodipine. I know it's far from the ideal but would a lot of these taken simultaneously (with booze) do the trick? This was one of my 'scenarios' before I came on here yesterday.

As far as I know Beta Blockers are the most dangerous (potentially life threatening) BP meds. The challenge with any combination of these types of meds, particularly consumed ancillary to alcohol, would be projectile vomiting I'd imagine. And, since there are unlikely to be many studies available on combining random meds it's always going to be an unpredictable gamble as to the outcome. No point in making an attempt just to finish up with your liver & kidneys damaged and a pacemaker fitted.

I'd have to take something to limit the vomiting possibility. I'll see if there's any informed opinions on here re suchlike. There might be the odd suicidal medical professional.

Well, I do know of 5 student vets who killed themselves with a Nembutal feed during training some years ago. I'm betting that any suicidal doctors probably don't hang around too long. Or, indeed, come onto SanSu to find out about methods.

I was being facetious (sorry). There might be more informed opinions than you and me out there. I dont have to include alcohol by the way. I just thought it might enhance things. I'd imagine (personally) enough of those meds would arguably do the job though.

For those intetested....

Outlook (Prognosis)
A beta-blocker overdose can be very dangerous. It can cause death. If the person's heart rate and blood pressure can be corrected, survival is likely. Survival depends on how much and what type of this medicine the person took and how quickly they receive treatment.

An overnight hospital stay may be needed even in less serious cases, as some long-acting drugs remain in the body for many hours.

Risk factors for a more severe outcome, including multiple organ failure and death, include:

Co-ingestion with other drugs which affect the heart; for example, digoxin, calcium channel blockers, tricyclic antidepressants
People with other health conditions, such as congestive heart failure and heart rhythm disturbances

Seemingly, Calcium channel blockers (Verapamil being the moat dangerous) and Beta blockers are hugely dangerous. One would think a good combination of both would succeed - with an anti nausea tab or 3? Viewpoint?
