Pictures of blood. Don't look.

What do we think of the color of the blood from my bloody nose as I aimed it at a small almost-empty cup of sodium nitrite?
  • I only think I might see the changes I was looking for in color
  • It's from a bloody nose after a shower. Not exactly a medical-grade extraction
  • The cup of just a little bit has been sitting in my closet, and appeared moderately clumped when I dug my bloody finger into it. Humidity?
  • I want so badly to believe that it's pure that my opinion is probably not trustworthy
  • My phone camera wasn't faithful: those are somewhat close to what I saw but not exactly the same
  • It was kinda dumb to play with blood and poison with bare bloody hands, but I'm ok with it killing me โœŒ๏ธ๐Ÿ˜ƒ
  • I wanna go so fucking bad. It was so painful and disappointing to experience this much life. Can you even fucking imagine if I have to keep doing it?!
(Thanks to the awesome guy who already fielded this question that can have no unambiguous answers).

That sounds so awesome! And like such a relief!!

But I'm tired. Are you being sarcastic?

And do you really believe it looks different than if I'd done it with, say, table salt?

My fingers are crossed. This may be the best message I have received in a while.

blood turned chocolatey/dark brown which is a sign of methemoglobin. your SN is fine. I got the same color result too.

Oh lately at least it's probably high pulse rate and high temperature, and long, person-with-major-depressive-disorder super hot water and the steam heat in my apartment. Other times of year they can happen with as much as a sneeze.

Are you concerned I might have something fatal?

It's kinda wild that I'm so freaked out by blood and needles...

But bloody noses? They're just a simple and frequent frustration that somehow doesn't ignite the same disgust/fear reflexes in me.
