• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

I'm trying to figure out how to make a purchase of N but have after using Coinbase and being asked for ssn, I did some reading here and found others suggest tumbling bitcoin.

Is this necessary? If so, can anyone tell me step by step how to do so?

Why are u afraid to put down your ssn? I didn't do any tumbling. I did accidentally buy bitcoin cash and had to convert it to bitcoin and there was a small fee for that. Coinbase worked though. It's just a little tricky and had to have a friend come walk me through it. It's not hard once u get just that basic step by step. I would never have figured it out on my own but it's not hard if u can find someone who knows. You don't have to tell them what it's for. Or why u need to make a bitcoin purchase. I don't know if the person had not been right there with me that I could do it lol! I'm slow.

People recommend tumbling for anonymity so they don't get in trouble.

Unfortunately I don't have any friends to show me how to do this. I've read it's typical to use Tor to register with blockchain, but I'm also wondering if all this is necessary.

Did you receive your N?

There are several tumbling services you can use, just google for them. It's not absolutely necessary but it does provide an extra layer of anonymity. It is still possible to trace though, if an individual is determined enough. LocalBitcoins is an alternative to Coinbase that doesn't require your SSN, if you don't want to tumble.

The instructions say "everything is very easy - just transfer money to the account from your card or a bank account". But I don't have any bank accounts and no cards, I only have cash. How do I transfer cash to bitcoins? If you could just go and use the ATM but where I live there are no such ATMs. I do not understand how to change cash for electronic money, I'm so tired of all this, don't know what to do, why can't I just pay money and die, for God's sake? This is ridiculous, like a stupid joke.

Where there is a will there's a way. You might need to ask people for help. I almost posted an ad on Craigslist for help with it for a little bit of payment in exchange. Then I asked one of my clients, I was honest about everything and what I need it for and he decided to help anyway. As long as I deleted our texts and convo about it. It's easy to feel so helpless and think nobody will assist u. I struggle with this same learned helplessness. I almost thought I was not going to be able to get this accomplished.
