Birdbox and psychopathy

I struggled watching this movie because the psychopaths were all basically serial killers and villified. I think our society makes psychopath synonymous with serial killer.

I think this is a worthy topic for discussion. I can't engage with it because I know next to nothing about psychology. Maybe others have stayed away because it's already been hashed over in another thread. It reminds me of another thread Smilla tried to start (antinatalism I think) that didn't seem to attract any responses.

There's a new Netflix documentary in my queue about psychopaths I'll have to watch, and I just stumbled across this article that might be of some interest. I'm interested in learning what traits distinguish psychopaths from sociopaths.

I've only seen previews but I think birdbox can be directly compared to social media
