Binding of Isaac got me in a deathgrip again

Quite literally. I die all the time in it. I'm so, so bad at this game despite having over 1,200 hours on it lmao. Literally have only like half of the DLC achievements. But gawds it's soooooo fun. Like insanely addicting for me. I have pulled multiple all-nighters just to play this goddamn game,, I fear I may never be productive as long as I'm playing it lol. Anyone else got a game like this? Or love Binding of Isaac?

I actually have a mac myself, but that doesn't stop me. I downloaded a virtual machine just to play it lol. Big mistake, but also, not really because it's fun and can distract me from the evil thoughts.

Funnily enough I rarely buy games these days. I just put in a couple hundred or thousand hours into the same games so at the very least ig I'm not spending a shit ton on them all the time

I'm new to it, its really fun and addicting. No other games really feel that way anymore. I want the mod that shows item descriptions because it's way too annoying to look through the wiki all the time, but apparently I need the Afterbirth dlc to use that, so I'm tempted to spend more money for that. It does make me feel bad though when I spend 45-60 minutes on a run just to make a mistake and die, like I could have done something productive for that time instead of making no progress in the game, but it is fun regardless, and im usually not productive anyways. I've only been using azazel because I hate not being able to fly and having weak tears. Who do you play as?

I stopped using my console as soon as I got an OLED TV. Oleds are notorious for burn in. And I was worried that the health bar and magic bar etcetera would cause burn in since they were permanently on one side of the screen.

In the end I just gamed way too much and everything else was suffering. So I have no regrets quitting.

ayooo i also have binding of isaac and already finished it id say (im only missing the new online achievements but got too lazy to do em ngl but i definitly should to have the 100% done again lmao) Can relate on the game being addictive tho, i remember back in the day i used to play like 2 days in a row of just that when i had time
now it began to die down after getting all the stuff so stopped playing it all together but im still missing the other 2 save files to finish so one day ill come back lmaoo (i think i got also like 1000 or 1200 hours? idk before i used to play on a pirated version of afterbirth, but then got it on steam so yeah)

TBoI has been my go-to comfort game for four years now. I'm at around 950 hours. Haven't quite hit Dead God but I'm gradually nearing it, just have to finish a few Tainted characters' completion marks and a couple other achievements. It's nearly a perfect game, from gameplay, to story, to art direction and general atmosphere. I've found nothing quite like it. Lost and T. Keeper are my favorites when I want an easy, chill run.

Omg please get the dlc, it is SO worth it I promise!! Azazel used to be my go-to actually! But I realized I was using him as a crutch too much, and his short range kinda pmo sometimes. But then I unlocked tainted Lilith, and she is my fucking GOAT. Kinda hard to get her, but then again what game of TBoI is easy? So worth it tho.

Ahhh I'm so jealous of you 100% it!! I feel like maybe it could've been relevant for me to say that I did platinum god the game before I got the DLC and it somehow deleted a bunch of my progress. But hey, what's another 1,000 hours really? I probs won't beat it before I ctb, but it's a fun thought to have :]

Lost is your fav?? Absolutely insane behavior, I didn't even know having the lost as your fav could be an option I admire you for that though. Really taking the bullet hell aspect of the game to its most extreme lol

ill even pretend to think u beat it but it got deleted but wish u the best mans :)
and tbh to be truthful to u, i think it was pretty funny the experience of beating it yet so painful the last few thinfs i had to do
