Anyone ever used Betterhelp? I have probable BPD and diagnosed Asperger's. The price isn't a huge turn off, it actually works out cheaper than the ones I can find locally. I'm just worried it's a waste of time. My main desire is to just vent to someone opposed to something like CBT or DBT.

Shady company, in the past they employed non-therapists and lied about them being credentialed. I would never trust them.

I think online/tele therapy is an amazing development and can be truly helpful, but BetterHelp is not the one to choose.

I would not suggest betterhelp at all based on what others have said on it online and all the controversy surrounding it. You can get a therapists that aren't qualified at all and the company can sell your info which should be credentialed and kept between you and therapists.

I think you shouldn't use it. The cost is higher than you realize, and the therapists are overworked so they can't give you good quality therapy. If you want to learn how to deal with BPD you can learn DBT in your own time. It is harder than with someone to guide you, but it's free and doesn't require a clinician at all.
