I've been practicing with mostly the slipknot but I noticed sometimes the end of the
Rope ( electrical cord for me )
Is very short. Leaving few options to hang from.
As for the noose(not hangman)
Easy to do but seems like it can slip easy.

With the Taut line hitch it has a "stop or knot" already there and allows the longer end of the "rope" to remain long.
This way the longer end can go over the door and tie securely to the knob. But as tension is inside of the loop it constricts
( partial )



Looked through many threads and didn't notice this type of knot so here it is.
