Looking to CTB by firearm through the heart. I'm a novice when it comes to guns but I am going out today to purchase a handgun or a shotgun. I'd prefer a handgun because it's easier to conceal. Can anyone link me to easy to use handguns and ammo?

Not sure what you mean by "easy to use". Also, I would aim for the brainstem through the mouth rather than at the heart.

Not complex to learn how to use.

I don't know your budget but if you want something easy and concealable maybe a glock 43x?

I've heard revolvers are better to get the job done. Is there a reason you suggest the Glock? Starting to think I might just cave and get a rifle.

At this point, I'm desperate. I can go out this evening and buy a Mossberg Maverick 88 with the bullets for 275. Cheap and easy. Just need to make sure I can get to my heart with the length of it so it's not wasted money. Tried jumping, no way that's happening even though it's the most straightforward. My SI wouldn't let me.

My grandad has a maverick 88, I'll probably use that, i dont see why not, it is pretty much the standard shotgun

The 88 is a good solid choice but you want shells for it not bullets, 00 or 000 buck shot or slug. I have the mossberg 500, basically same gun. I have two barrels for it, a 18.5" home/self defense and a 28" for hunting.

If you need or want more information feel free to message me.

I've generally heard good things about the Maverick 88. I've been told a double action revolver is a good starter pistol, perhaps in .38 Special. For the Maverick, buckshot is best (preferably 00) and Jacketed Hollow Points (JHP) for the .38.

Anyway we have thread for this tovarish
