Being the lonely kid at school

I noticed this repeatedly since kindergarten. Even though I moved between five different schools, I was always different—always odd among everyone around me. Making friendships with other kids was difficult; even just sitting and talking with them. I failed at everything. Eventually I stopped even trying, and I ended up spending most of my time sitting alone throughout my life. It took me 19 years to realize that this was a pattern I could never break.

Like seriously, why do lonely kids in school still exist? It's the most devastating thing in the world.

I know what it feels like. It took me a while for me to stop seeing myself as some irreparable black sheep and realize that it's usually purely psychological—a self-fulfilling prophecy that you can rectify with lots of effort.

Not saying it's easy, quite the opposite. If you're neurodivergent and broken like me then it takes such an enormous amount of masking and energy that most of the times it's not worth it.

i understand how you feel. i had an entire group of "friends" who i had for years suddenly call me and list off everything they hated about me and then blocked me. taught me young that you can't trust people. i am very selective with those i can trust now.

I'm so sorry :(
I went through the same. Most of my life i was alone. Many people say making friends or finding a partner is the sense of life well then what should we say?
I'm happy that i will ctb and this sad and empty life will finally end.
