this sounds unconventional but I feel like this could tell my parents how bad my mental health is and the pain would hurt less

I mean, getting professional help is not really unconventional. Looking for help is definitely a good idea, and while I don't love psych wards, I understand your logic, and kinda relate to that, tbh.

So sure, I think you could try. If you are cooperative, they won't treat you too bad and they will let you leave soon, so I don't see why not.

From the few posts I've seen on here of yours, it sounds like you're not quite ready to CTB.

AND THATS OKAY! You don't have to! There's always more time.

I would suggest checking into a ward and see if maybe there are other options for you. And if there isn't, it at least shows that you are struggling mentally should you decide to CTB.

oh heaven's no! see like you might meet some cool people but jeez...so boring it can be...it will heavily depend on the psych ward and how they do things. it might even help get you to get it together but they are so expensive! i just can't suggest this...look into some sort of outpatient therapy over that idea...
