  • Hey Guest,

Today, OFCOM launched an official investigation into Sanctioned Suicide under the UK’s Online Safety Act. This has already made headlines across the UK.

This is a clear and unprecedented overreach by a foreign regulator against a U.S.-based platform. We reject this interference and will be defending the site’s existence and mission.

In addition to our public response, we are currently seeking legal representation to ensure the best possible defense in this matter. If you are a lawyer or know of one who may be able to assist, please contact us at [email protected].

I recently read a thread on here about helping delusional members, and I feel like I am one of those people. I would like someone to talk to when I'm experiencing my delusions, and it would mean a lot if anyone could listen even if I am not making much sense. I have an imaginary friend who talks for me when I'm in a bad state. I know it is a tough ask for most people, but I don't want to feel scared about talking to someone when I'm in that stage—it's my brain's way of helping me resolve issues. I often feel helpless when I am going through an episode, because I feel like I can't reach out to anyone on here without being seen as a psychopath.

My inbox is always open. I'm no stranger to dissociative coping mechanisms with imaginary friends.

I will next time it happens. I just get scared when I have in the past because I don't want people to think, "Oh, that's the insane guy" whenever I make a post. I still want to be able to talk to people normally when I'm able to, and not having them think to themselves "he's out of his mind—I'm not listening to him" whenever we interact.

I am able to talk normally and articulately outside of these episodes, and I always let people know when I'm in that state. They don't have to worry about me acting or behaving weird outside of those moments.
