I'm tired of this pathetic world of crap
All people chasing an economic goal, competing to see who has the best car, the best partner, the best phone, who eats the best food.
All to post their stupid picture on social networks and get a couple of likes.
Everything is competition, they spend their whole lives competing, there is no real love anymore, nor friendships, everything is showing off.
But, seriously, don't you realize how absurd it really is to be alive?
Existence has no meaning, never did, we are just a bunch of monkeys floating on a giant piece of rock, an animal that sooner or later dies.
I hate the stupid society and system that frames your life for life in terms of the beliefs and prejudices of these same monkeys.
I just don't understand the stupidity of people and what human beings will do for a little power, it's pitiful.
I hate being born in the first place and I hate being tall and insignificant as a pathetic human being.
People are based on status, they are just an image they show to the world, hiding all the fears and insecurities that surround them.
It's so easy to decipher them, it's so simple to get into their mindset of competition, pride and supposed well being that gives them to compare themselves with others and feel superior
How hard is it to open your eyes and realize that everything is a lie? that most people's lives are ruled by how pretty, famous and successful you are.
You are brought into this world without your consent to fulfill the frustrated dreams of your parents.
I don't understand how a person enjoys watching a silly soccer game without really thinking about the meaninglessness of life.
But don't mind me! I'll finish my degree, buy the latest iphone, go on vacation and upload everything on instagram! So everyone can see the happy life I lead

I'm also tired of this world, I understand when you mean people competing with each other the race to get the most popularity it's just pointless. I just can't wait to close my eyes for the last time and be done. I don't have to worry about this world ever again.

I don't understand why people try so much, why they always try to see positive things. Except for the beatiful, handsome, rich people. I'd live careless if I was like that too.
But people like me I saw, is trying to cope so hard. Trying to achieve things so hard. There's no beauty, the only beauty of life is there is an end, death.
I don't even want money, status, beauty, nothing. They are all bullshits. I just want a GUN and BULLET. That's maybe not the happiness, but the real peace.

Absolutely true, today's world is very superficial, just appearance, falsehood and senseless competitiveness. Nothing seems real and genuine anymore.

But perhaps all of this is just a way of filling the existential void of life. Something to distract themselves with. Like actors in a great world tragicomic play.

It's ironic that just before I started typing this I hit the "like" button. I couldn't agree with you more. But I'll watch football just to kind of get away from my head for a while. But when I do I'll be thinking of this post.

To some extent, it was a relief to have worked this out. As in- are these things actually important to me or, is it that I've just been told that these are the things I should want and be aiming for in life?

I did actually genuinely want to be successful in my (creative) career because it gave me a sense of fulfilment but, even that's kind of diminished. In part, it's a relief to be rid of that sense of longing and accompanying sense of worry and failure. On the other hand though, it means I have less drive/ motivation now.

I suppose the problem is- if we feel trapped here. For whatever reason- inaccessible CTB methods, fear of the process, concern over upsetting loved ones. Then, it does make it harder to live with no sense of it being worth it.

Because- unless we have people funding us, we will still have to contribute massively in order to just survive. So, it's like- yes, I understand the sentiment but, it doesn't take away from the fact that if we are stuck here for the time being, we'll be stuck playing by their rules. Some jobs actually seem to look for social media followers. If you've been in the position where you're looking for work, you find out you probably do need to comply to all their shit to get noticed. I agree though- it is all ridiculous shit! And, I can't wait to free myself from it.
