The OTC medications are OTC because they are relatively less harmful and harder to OD on.
That is a major part of the reason they are available without prescription.

I really wish there's the option to reliably overdose on easily accessible medication, such a thing would prevent so much suffering, I despise how suicide is purposely made so inaccessible.If you have the right meds and drugs you can OD on them but OTC usually never works.
