  • Hey Guest,

Today, OFCOM launched an official investigation into Sanctioned Suicide under the UK’s Online Safety Act. This has already made headlines across the UK.

This is a clear and unprecedented overreach by a foreign regulator against a U.S.-based platform. We reject this interference and will be defending the site’s existence and mission.

In addition to our public response, we are currently seeking legal representation to ensure the best possible defense in this matter. If you are a lawyer or know of one who may be able to assist, please contact us at [email protected].

I'm asking because I have an appointment coming up but I'm scared.

Backstory for those that don't know.
When stress gets to be too much I have a psychotic episode. The details of such doesn't matter, except one. I will impulsively hit my head off of anything and everything as hard as I can. Windows, walls, books. Literally anything.

I've had head pain since my last episode 8 days ago. It comes and goes. Sometimes it's not that bad. Anyway I have an appointment for it coming up on the 12th (that I may or may not go to. They say I have to go alone but I have anxiety so no way in hell and the research I did said they can't deny me unless they feel unsafe so as long as we both wear masks (that I can't wear because I can't breath but that's a different problem)) and I'm concerned how bad they are going to say it is.

Actually I think I'll call tomorrow about the whole anxiety and mask thing (this fucking pandemic thing is pissing me off at this point. At first it didn't bother me but now there's a possibility I could die and they will probably kick me back out the door because I have anxiety and can't breath but what the fuck ever)

This whole thing is pissing me off. I probably won't go. But they might understand so I'll call under that 0.0000001% chance. I had my husband make the appointment because I was having bad anxiety that day.

Fuck my head hurts this is stupid.

Head trauma is supposed to contribute to depression so I wondered if I suffered any trauma as a kid. it's possible but I don't really know. My experience with combat sports probably didn't help.

When I was on a Disney cruise, I got a concussion. I was on the top deck and wanted to get on the water slide so I ran when my mom told me not to run and I slipped and bumped my head and blacked out.

I got a "minor" brain damage during my birth. Not cool. I'm messed up now.

I've been knocked unconscious a quite few times in random events in my life - car wrecks, basketball game, falling, etc. Now I have developed neurological problems over time, epilepsy being my worst.

2 definite minor concussions but likely more with how many times I've been hit or hit myself in the head(not in a psychotic episode though, just self harm). I've also been damaged by ECT and medication.

Edit: Nearly all the mentioned injuries were as a child.

Got a serious concussion from a car accident, bashed my head on the driver's side window frame. A few years later, I *think* I hit my head pretty good in another car accident (lol brain damage) and then proceeded to fall in the shower and hit the base of my skull on the metal tub faucet... the resulting mania was... truly a horror show, not quite sure how I still have a job at the same employer after that! But I do... and I fucking hate it.
