I'm in a board and care right now and just got out of a literal mental institution. Anyone else in some sort of mental health facility?

The place I'm now is pretty great but I would still rather live alone or with my parents I think. I'm on conservatorship thanks to my parents but even my parents wanted me out of the mental institution. That particular place was really horrible just for the fact that there were some people who stay there for up to 10 years and I stayed there for a year despite my parents trying really hard to get me out. It's just about money for them.

It was okay, I'm recovering from a heroin overdose and the bed sucked so I didnt do too much. I just drew a bit, learned how to live without the internet, attended all their groups to get out of the place, and would go for overnights on the weekend with my parents which was really nice.
