• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

I've done this but I've noticed it's become a rare thing for me. I prefer serious conversations.

I really like your posts, and how you catalyze the discussion on various topics that I would never bother to bring up.

I'm fun with humor as long as I'm the one laughing.

Sometimes it's nice to cope with humor but it's also good to have a true serious conversation about a sensitive topic without having to make fun of it. I'm okay with both

I think it depends on the nature and gravity of the topic being discussed. Some people use humour because its the only way they can reasonably deal with the topic, maybe to think about it too deeply causes them too much anxiety. Humour then is a way to try and break up the 'weight' of the conversation.
