I've been following this site for a few months and recently joined. From what I've seen, most of the SaSu members are liberals or leftists, but what about conservatives? I'm a monarchist and traditionalist myself, and I wonder if there are any like-minded people here? (I remember seeing a member with Ernst Jünger as his avatar)

1) When my country was ruled by the Tsar, before 1917, we were an ordinary Western state, maybe a little more backward and despotic than Western Europe, but nothing more. When the communists came to power in my country, they organized mass repressions, the destruction of high culture.
2) Aesthetic reasons. I am a very big hater of modern art (for me it is everything after the middle of the 20th century). I can admire the architecture, music, clothes, cars of the era of the Great Empires, but not of the current era.

I've been pleased that I haven't seen too much here that's political. I like that people are discussing their common topic without bringing politics into it, find it a nice change.

I've noticed a couple - they are typically pretty easy to spot. But not many.
